My Dr. was telling me about the drug Farxiga used for heart failure with reduced EF, and that it was a promising drug. He said it is used a lot with patients that has diabetes, but has found to help without diabetes, for heart failure. I already take entresto and a beta blocker and don't want to really take another drug to feel badly, for I also take 5mg every other night of statin. Does anyone else have obstructive hypertrophic cardiomapathy? I would would like to discuss experiences as there are not too many of us on this board.

I am taking two a day. I have noticed a shortness of breath upon exertion. Has anyone else run into this problem? I understand shortness of breath can be a side effect while on this med.

I had a Cardiologist appt this week that was ok, Thankful. My Cardiologist was telling me of a new medication approve now for heart failure patient with low EF, it is a med that is given to type 2 dietbetc, ( I forgot the exact name), she said it has few side effects. I am scheduled for an echo in May and if my EF is low, she recommended the new drug. Have anyone heard of the medication? I hate to add another pill to my daily intake.😔, but may try it. I have read and heard that CoQ10 helps when you are on Statins, for I take 5mg every other night, wants to get of but my Dr. suggested not to because of CAD disease. opinion on the supplement.
