Hello hope all is doing ok. I have read in a goggle news post warning of a new COVID variant that may be similar to the delta variant that devastated us in the earlier COVID, that it was in Singapore and a few cases have reached NY. Have anyone else read or heard of this? I will now get my second booster, feeling a little anxious about this. Can't it just be over!!š

Hello heart team, hope all is doing ok. I had a stuffy nose and cough with chills. I did a covid test and it had to lines, I freaked out and went to ER. There was not much they could do, but told to just use cold meds and Tylenol. I would like to know if any has had Covid and how did it effected their heart. Did it do more damage. How many had to have paxlovid because of heart disease and failure. I am waiting on Cardiologist to call should I take paxlovid, for I have low EF (heart failure) kindā¦ read more

hello everyone, here we go with another variant of Covid (Omicron) from South Africia; very contagious. After all these vaccine and booster, Praying they help. I don't think we will ever be Covid free in this world. It can be stressful after doing all you can to stay away from this killing and suffering pandemic and having heart disease. Has anyone heard of an AFib episode after a Covid booster? I recently developed AFib symptoms the night of my Covid booster. I didnāt relate it with the booster. Symptoms went on for 5 days, with my doctor adjusting some meds to no avail. . On the 6th day I went to ER. I was in full AFib and admitted. The next day a Cardioversion was done. I'm soon schedule to have Covid vaccine, I was being impatient to have it, now that it is my turn, I feel somewhat worried. Has any with heart issues, such as HF, CAD, low ef, etc had the vaccine and did you have side effects, got to have it though.

I had a Cardiologist appt this week that was ok, Thankful. My Cardiologist was telling me of a new medication approve now for heart failure patient with low EF, it is a med that is given to type 2 dietbetc, ( I forgot the exact name), she said it has few side effects. I am scheduled for an echo in May and if my EF is low, she recommended the new drug. Have anyone heard of the medication? I hate to add another pill to my daily intake.š, but may try it. Reason I'm asking is my Cariologist put me on Telmisartan for high blood pressure a month ago, BP is now good at @120/50 and my watch reports it no longer measures any Afib during the last month. Anyone have similar experiences to share?
