Question Regarding Covid Booster And AFib.
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone heard of an AFib episode after a Covid booster? I recently developed AFib symptoms the night of my Covid booster. I didn’t relate it with the booster. Symptoms went on for 5 days, with my doctor adjusting some meds to no avail. . On the 6th day I went to ER. I was in full AFib and admitted. The next day a Cardioversion was done. When speaking with the cardiac Nurses they stated that they had seen this after a Covid shot in people with existing AFib also varied other heart related… read more

I'm a retired nurse long before this game started but yes there are way too many documented incidences of cardiac issues after the vaccines. My aFib happened 2 1/2 years before the games began causing a stroke. My cardiologist recommended against getting the vaccine and I never have gotten any, I did have covid shortly after the games started very little issues with/from it and I continue to live my life to it's fullest every day thanking the good Lord for me still being here.

Yes, I had all three Moderna shots and was healthy prior to that except for some high blood pressure issues throughout the last few years. Shortly after getting the 3rd and final booster shot an edema problem I had endured for over 18 years that all the doctors I saw over the years who said there was nothing they could do for it except wear an elastic stocking and keep it elevated as much as possible. Not very realistic but tried. Somehow within 5 to 8 days I noticed the edema that was once in my left leg had left and my leg was back to normal again. Shortly within a few days when I went to the doctor she noticed I had an extremely high Afib reading and was sent immediately to ER and the testing began and several blood clots were found in my lungs which I have been on several meds since February and will still be on most of them until late August. The most powerful is a drug called Elliquis. I believe those covid shots set the blood clots in motion.. Hope this answers your question.

If you feel off balance a slight knock to the head I get that and a real tired feel come over me. But being in heart failure it just added to it making it hard to function. I have had 2 booster shots I feel fine. Thank God I sat next to the funniest lady she making jokes I wearing my mask she wasn't wearing hers but after a while she pulls it out of her purse. She was so funny. Made waiting nice
