Hello heart team, hope all is doing ok. I had a stuffy nose and cough with chills. I did a covid test and it had to lines, I freaked out and went to ER. There was not much they could do, but told to just use cold meds and Tylenol. I would like to know if any has had Covid and how did it effected their heart. Did it do more damage. How many had to have paxlovid because of heart disease and failure. I am waiting on Cardiologist to call should I take paxlovid, for I have low EF (heart failure) kind… read more

I also got COVID-19 in September 2022. I too had 4 total vax's. Er doctor told me to quarantine for 10 days. No Paxvolid as it does interfere with Eliquis (blood thinner). What told me I had Covid was my heart was racing and my Apple Watch was triggered telling me high rate while sleeping.

Thanks everyone, it has been almost a month and I started feeling better around 8 days, but kept a lingering cough. I will probably now get my 3rd booster. I don't know if they will go to the 4th booster automatic or what, didn't wanted to take anymore boosters, but afraid of this Covid. I think I have to wait about 3 months for booster 😞

I had COVID September 2022. Other than my heart racing no side effects that I am aware of. At that time I had two vaccines and two boosters. Still caught COVID.

MsB...no damage that I know of. I keep up with all the available boosters as I believe that is the most pro-active thing I can do, as well as living a rather healthy life-style.

I've had 2 vaccines and 3 boosters to keep from getting Covid. I did catch a cold that lasted a week with a running nose and cough. I just took Benadryl and slept a lot. It never occurred to me that I might have Covid. I feel fine now and no heart damage that I found. I think as we age we panic whenever we get sick . .. I know I usually do. Getting all the shots is worrisome too. We can handle this!!!
