if yur on beta blockers and are 58 years old how do u you determine it!!

I was the youngest person my surgeon had ever done a bypass graft surgery on and one of the youngest heart attack victims doctors had seen. I was only 27. And I'm just curious if anyone is out there that is similar to my situation with being so young and having to have a triple bypass?

I am 58 and on beta blockers and seem to have a hard time getting up the rehab center told me mine should be anywhere from 91 to 117 or higher 9i am confused

I have had echo cardio gram and e k g and stress test blood work and the cardio doctor had never said I have it was wondering if anyone on here has and how it was diagnosed and just because someone had swollen ankle occasionally does not make mean they have it some of the meds the doctor put you on for the heart suchas metopolo canothers can cause swollen ankles norvacs is another one that does that

i am on beta blockers and I know they slow heart rate down but also very fit and wonderingwht is the normal outside of what they say 60 to 100 beats per minute if your active is it less???

I have had bypass surgery and 5 stents.My back has also been broke in two places. I have stenosis in my cervical and lumbar areas of my spine.My ankle was shattered and was rebuilt with plates and screws.My hip had to be replaced.A pain medication.containing codiene is the only effective medication is the only relief I have.Alot of drs.use my heart condition as an excuse not to give me anything for pain.This infuriates me .Anyone else run into this problem?
