I agree you can keep a record and sometimes find certain things set it off, in my case chocolate, decaf tea or coffee, eating to much at one time, and cold air, also if I don't get enough sleep

With Afib and trying to lower my cholesterol, and taking thinner, and bp meds wondering if since it helps to expand the blood flow, would this help in increasing chances of a blood clot moving or creating a blockage elsewhere?
Several times a night I wake up feeling like I am 'QUAKING" . Is this Afib/Aflutter? It lasts from a few seconds to a couple minutes. Per the nurse I cut out caffeine but it hasn't helped. If anything it is worse. I also have congestive heart failure. I take Plavix. I had unknown origin internal bleeding and had crit counts of 5.8 and 6.0, hospitalized twice for transfusions of blood and iron, but am still anemic.
