An SVT can cause a very rapid heart beat as well...mine was managed with an ablation 16 years ago.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I know what you mean. I have had some type of arrhythmia most of my life. I have had 3 ablations. 2 for Aflutter and still, that is my main issue. Not much more to do about it now except to control the rate with medications. Most of the time I feel well but when it starts up I just have to stop and rest until I can slow it enough to convert it back to a regular rhythm. Sometimes that means going for a cardioversion to put the heart back into sinus rhythm ( most of the time I can avoid that now with beta blockers).

Well I’m happy that I don’t have THAT at this point! I think my pacemaker would correct it if I developed it at some point in the future!

I do not have palpitations but now I know what they are when people say they have palpitations after watching the video. I learned alot and enjoyed the video.
