Out Of Breath, Lack Of Energy, Tingling Lower Legs, Takes A Day Or More To Recover
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

In 2004 i had a heart attack. Diagnosed with COPD back in 2008. Last September I was in South Africa and came down with a serious chest infection. Back home it reoccurred in February. I was so out of breath, 2 trips to the ER.. The out of breath has stayed 5 months now. Going through endless tests, specialist to specialist each with their own ridiculous wait time (socialized medicine). I can't get a straight answer.

🩺Monday's Medical Video 🩺 What Happens To Our Blood Pressure As We Age?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Aging, blood pressure. Our Blood pressure changes as we get older. Unfortunately, doctors now care more about following guidelines and less about treating the individual. There is something inherently illogical about treating a 90-year-old with a BP of 150/90 in the same way as a 20-year-old with a BP of 150/90. The benefits are less and the risk of harm is greater. Here Doctor Gupta, of York Cardiology explains how our BP changes as we get older.
