I have several additional health issues too. I found that making stir fry meals to reduce meat and increase veggies helps. Do not use soy sauce though. My BP is sensitive to even LoSo. Iā€™m trying coconut aminos next. There are either low sugar or no salt ketchup and other condiments.
Nurses have mentioned that I might want to try recipes from both the Dash Diet and Mediterranean diet. I use brown rice mixed with wild rice. Use the healthier version of foods you love and notice how you feel when testing foods.
