I had a quadruple in March and also experienced AF and so was put on Rivaroxaban.A Cardiologist recently advised me after a 24 hour monitor which showed no AF that I should stop taking Rivaroxaban.He admitted it was a calculated move judging what was more likely a bleed or a stroke.The same monitor also showed that I have a slow heartbeat and so along with the Rivaroxaban the cardiologist advised me to stop taking a 1.25 mg beta blocker.My blood pressure went up immediately and my heart rate… read more

I have had echo cardio gram and e k g and stress test blood work and the cardio doctor had never said I have it was wondering if anyone on here has and how it was diagnosed and just because someone had swollen ankle occasionally does not make mean they have it some of the meds the doctor put you on for the heart suchas metopolo canothers can cause swollen ankles norvacs is another one that does that

I do not drink period. I took care of three alcoholics in my life span. My cardiologist said it’s not good to mix it with my heart medicine. I am on eliquis and Cardovalil medicine.

I had to get a by pass due to more blocked arteries doctor said it was due to not taking my statins..I always take them now.
