I do not take that drug but do take statins very important to take ladies. I have three stents before my bypass..I had refused to take statins as all the aching I had etc. so I watched my diet and exercise it lasted 9 yrs back in 98 then I dev. 2 more block edges and asked the dr..why am I getting so many blockedges as it doesn't run in the family. he said because you refuse to take statins which help you not to...I still didn't listen and didn't take them four years later was told I need a bypass...I never miss my statins now not taking anymore chances. keep trying different ones and you can even take them every other day..I do not get that aching anymore now..guess my body adjusted...some information for you all...good luck .

I hate them too...but was told they help you not to get another block artery. I take Lisinopril

I had terrible reactions from drugs ,life threatening , so only on 75 mg of aspirin and feel great and that was on my cardiologist advice.

I had to get a by pass due to more blocked arteries doctor said it was due to not taking my statins..I always take them now.

I take Lipitor and it seems ok
