I had my heart attack on the way to the hospital in November 2017. The paramedic sent to Meadville right away. Because he felt UPMC was not going to do anything for me. I did not know I had one either. I guess I was throwing PVC all over the place. I am thankful I was with medical personnel. They caught it and did the proper thing by sending me to Meadville heart hospital. I had congestive heart failure at the time to.

I had a heart attack and didn't know it. My cardiologist gave me nitroglycerin for the same symptoms. It's scarey not knowing what a heart attack feels like🙄

If you don't go to the hospital they can't really say what happened An EKG and troponin blood test will tell you for sure if you go to hospital. My Dr. says 10 minutes max to go to ER if experiencing severe pain.

I had the same issues for a while. They gave me nitro patches and pills. If they do a blood test and heart stress enzymes are negative then it’s not a heart attack it’s just angina (chest pain). Of course it’s always best to get checked out. They told me one nitro pill, wait 15 minutes, then a second pill, and 15 minutes later if the pain is still there call 911. But the nitro always worked for me. Good luck, hang in there.
