Do you take Lasix daily? My legs and ankles are so swollen and I’m afraid to take it very often because of my stage 3 kidney disease. Will have labs done this week and see how creatinine is doing…Do you have kidney disease ?

Work with your doctor until you find the best medication/dosage that works for YOUR body. Good Luck.

I was prescribed one 20 mg pill a day and I got dizzy sometimes (when I was being careful with the amount of salt I ate and had exercised) so now I cut one in half and that seems to work. Maybe you need a smaller dose. Talk to your doctor.

Thank you Rachael. I don't have a cardiologist at present, just work with my dr. No, I don't have kidney disease. I read what you wrote with interest. I will decrease the furosemide again in a couple days and see what happens. the lightheaded feeling is better today so going back down to 80mg has worked. I take it to remove fluid from my lungs etc. It does help as not so short of breath taking it. To be honest I fight taking anything. Thank you for answering me.

Be very careful with your dosage i recently switched cardiologist and found out that previous one was over dosing me on Furosemide. Not only am i not losing fluid firm my legs and feet, shoe size has went from a 9 to a 13 in men, but it was taking the fluid from my organs and dehydrating me very wuickly. make sure to keep in touch with your dr with any issues. Feel better and take care of you
