I have been feeling great with exercising since my triple bypass last April 22. But early today at about 2 am I had gone to the bathroom when I lost control of my legs. I fell and hit my head very hard against the toilet causing a bloody nose. My husband helped me up. And it happened again in the bedroom. I fell again after losing control with my legs. I am feeling fine today 13 hrs later just have a terrible black eye and some cuts and bruises

I am light headed almost every day . I've done the obstacle course with 3 different types of doctors and no one can pin point my light headed feeling. I am going with my meds . Even though we changed the types and doses , I'm still light headed . I honestly believe that every one is different and it's just that my system does not tolerate my meds . I've learned to live with it . . You should tell your doctor asap . I hope all is better, real soon for you.

Brenda, my ankle still hurts and I figure, it will hurt the rest of my life. I just have to power through the stiffness and pain and walk as much as I can which is not very much. My new treadmill is being delivered tomorrow afternoon, so I will be back to walking tomorrow night.

I definitely recommend you following up with your cardiologist ASAP. We do need to drink more water. I have had orthostatic hypotension off and on since childhood. I even fainted early last fall after riding my stationary bike. I wasn't peddling aggressively but as I was walking to turn on the ceiling fan, I started feeling faint and went to sit down but the next thing I knew I was picking myself up off the floor. I didn't hurt myself. Floor is carpeted and fortunately I have good strong bones. I let my cardiologist know and he recommended cutting back on the metoprolol.

I think you should go to the doctor also to been seen & share everything with him. If you struck your head hard against the tolet, he my want to futher investigate to make sure futher falls weren’t contributed to that one fall.

Sorry Brenda of your fall. I know how it is to have legs feel weak causing a fall. Your BP could have fallen or the meds. I agree you should get checked out in case it happens again, and no blood clot. Take Care and be careful.
