When I had my heart attack I had dizziness but I did not know why until I went to the hospital and talked to the doctor. He said that dizziness can go along with heart disease. But I dont have it all the time but when I do I sit down because I dont want to fall so I get to the couch and just sit down for a few minutes until it is over with.

I am light headed all the time , but not to the point of dizziness or falling. I think mine is from meds . You should get a Dr opinion on your recent event . It sounds serious...big hugs

I have dizziness from time to time too but I have never fallen or had any problems with it…I usually just sit down asap and Wait for it to pass!

Sometimes dizziness occurs when BP drops much lower than normal. Dehydration has caused this several times for me, also. And it has been during cold weather, not in hot weather as you would think.

I had dizziness, and kept walking into walls on my left side. thought I was having TIA's, and was tested for that - Eventually I had the big collapse which proved to be a full blown stroke. Not only did I have left side inattention but I was seeing three vehicles approaching me when there was only one. My Advce is plenty of rest or it will be the big one like Me, then once you have the stroke it is a nightmare getting your driving licence back
