In this episode, the doctors and guest Dr. Heffernan unpack the most common cardiac tests — what each one does, how they’re performed, and which situations call for them. If you’ve ever been told you need an ECG, echocardiogram, or stress test, this video helps you understand exactly what those tests look for and why they matter.

I have a couple chemical stress tests. Wonder if they are as telling as the treadmill stress test

Doug, they are the same. They do a chemical stress test when you probably won't be able to complete the treadmill successfully. One example is me. I am exercise-intolerant, so they just do the chemical one instead.

Interesting, informative and beneficial, knowledge is POWER! Those 6 videos really pack a wealth of information! I was diagnosed with AFib in 22', heart Cath, stress test w/ combo tread mill/chemical due to knee issues and blood thinner plus two BP, heart rate medications and an electrical cardioversion. My outcome has been never felt worse! Informed my Dr that I stopped the blood thinner over a year ago since 4 surgeries for skin cancer [2 benign] dental cleaning exams every 6 months, reverse shoulder replacement followed weeks later by infection and a revision reverse replacement, 2 hernia surgeries, one 2 X 10 CM ventral and I have a strong distrust, disgust of the entire medical/Industrial/Insurance Complex but that's just me! Thanks for sharing but I swear the more I learn of the medical cabal the more disgusted I become?
