What morning habit increases heart attack risk in the first 10 minutes after waking up?

While the search results don't specifically address that particular morning habit, they do highlight several important factors that can trigger heart attacks and strain your cardiovascular system.

The most relevant insight relates to sudden physical stress on your heart. When you wake up, your body naturally experiences changes in blood pressure and heart rate. Activities that cause sudden physical strain or stress can be particularly risky during this vulnerable period.

Here are key factors that can increase heart attack risk:

- Sudden physical exertion before your body is properly warmed up
- Cold exposure, which causes blood vessels to constrict and makes your heart work harder
- Stress, which raises blood pressure
- Physical inactivity overall, leading to a less resilient cardiovascular system

To protect your heart in the morning, consider easing into your day gradually. Allow your body time to adjust before engaging in strenuous activity, stay warm, and maintain healthy lifestyle habits like regular exercise, a heart-healthy diet, not smoking, and maintaining a healthy weight.

If you're concerned about morning heart attack risk, talk with your doctor about your specific situation and any precautions you should take.

I think I'm devising a plan! I plan to sleep until noon! Not leaving a warm home if the temperature outside is below 65 F. Not going to strain on the toilet, adult diapers for me. Think I won't over exert putting on clothing, jammies all day every day! I can Instacart or ubereats everything, even beer and cigarettes. Adding everything up I think that I'll be immortal EH?

My bad habit is waking up wanting to smoke a cigarette and if I have to go to work at part time job iam up at 4:30am out the door at 5: 15am waiting on first morning bus at 5:35am and temp is around 11 - 20 degrees out.& none of us movers do any warm ups b4 we go out in cold to move people, so we are breathing much harder because of cold weather taking our breath and heart beating much faster to keep up with our moving and lifting furniture. Definitely get ♥ pumping
