I’m with Van and Caryn. I want to know what they (the docs) know. It’s my body, I’m paying them to know what’s going on, and I want them to share that with me, good or bad. I have a friend who just wants the bottom line, and that’s okay too. Not me, I’m double checking everything they tell me. Mayo Clinic’s website is one I trust so that’s one I use for more information.

Why do docs assume we don’t want to know these “little”details?,

Thanks Caryn, I just watched the video. It was informative. I didn't get a pacemaker yet. I'm concerned about allergy to nickel alloy in metals. Cardiologist asked me to think about it and let him know. In the meantime I am waiting to have a heart MRI. I've been waiting for months and my appointment finally is scheduled for January 29 (Monday one week away). So far my meds are carrying me through. The meds had improved my ejection fraction to 40-45.

Sometimes its not good to know too much, just accept what is good in your day.. You know!? But I understand wanting to know all. I could go blind taking this rejection drug, it be at the bottom of the list but its there in my mind always.. My Grandma went blind but she was a diabetic so far so good no diabetes..
