I have taken Atrovastin 4 13 yrs. It is a statin that stays in the body for quite some time. You are taking a high dose of your med now. At times high dose of this med has caused side effects & muscle pains. Ask your doc. ref. these meds. & dosage. Hope doc. gives you the answer you need !?!?๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿคจ

I have taken this med for almost 13 yrs. got good results. I started after my quad-druple open heart bypass. There's newer meds also, ask your Dr.
