I understand people becoming depressed after diagnosis or the surgery but he's been depressed as he was 30 and now he has had open heart surgery depression is just got worse and he's not been the same person since that open heart surgery either he is somebody I don't even know

I deal with depression, had it before my heart issues. I don't think it's related, but i can say it does seem worse now. I can't do certain things that i used to....and i'm constantly worried that my heart is going to get worse etc. After having open heart surgery 2 x in 6 mths it makes you think about how short life really can be

So sorry..to hear about his struggles..I'm sure there is someone here that may have experienced similar feelings. It's hard to deal with and when you add depression it's a little more difficult. Lifting you both in prayer.
