Is There Anyone On Here Who Has The Problem Listed Below?

A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mount Sidney, VA

I am wondering if there is anyone here on the forum that has had a heart attack with a similar situation. I have one artery that is completely dead, 2 that are 100% blocked and the 4th is only open 20%. I am trying to deal with the constant fatigue and trying to reach some kind of baseline to feel better. Thanks for your inputs.

Why hasn't your heart doctor put stents in the artery that is 20% blocked? I'm hoping you are on oxygen, sounds like you are very low in oxygen and organs can't worked when we get too low.

I really don't know. I do have collateral arteries that have formed around the blockages but I am going to ask when I see my MD next.

being I have 23 stents now, I think I can answer this for you. Most DR's wont stent until the blockage gets in the 70 plus range. I have had a few blockages at or less then 50 and they don't want to mess with them at that range. Constant fatigue, breathing problems, general tired all the time is the daily norm. Some days are better then others

Believe it or not my oxygen levels stay in the high 90's. I don't know why they didn't stent the one at 20%. I am asking that question the next time I see my MD. I also have small collateral arteries that are forming around the blockages. The MD told me that is the only reason I am still alive.

Are you not a candidate for by-pass surgery for some reason?
