Members responded to TonyaFelder's question about ongoing fatigue after pacemaker surgery with reassurance that tiredness is very common during recovery and can last several weeks or more. Several members shared that staying gently active, like walking in water or light movement, helped them regain energy over time, while others noted that rest and patience are key as the body heals. A recurring theme was that recovery looks different for everyone, and members encouraged TonyaFelder to take it slow and not worry.

I still get tired out easily, the biggest change I noticed is when I need to sit down to recover, the recovery is a lot quicker.

Yeah Tisha ,it varies depending on the person, it didn't take me long to recover because I was active in the kind of work I do and moving people is very active work always on our feet walking and carry heavy furniture and boxes which people over pack ,just take it easy and slow .

I have an A-ICD which is about 12 systems in one one and they switch from one to the other as my heart needs it and it never runs all the time. I started with an 11 year battery and I've had it 8 years and had a year and a half battery life left. I've been using it but I never feel it. I never felt any pain and have slept on it since the beginning. Even my cardiologist asked about pain because I was sleeping on it and I was fine.
