Hi AsaeliNgahe,

Yes sir, I have had chest discomfort for 2.5 years since diagnosed with heart disease. Occasionally, I might get a few minutes with no chest discomfort or indigestion. Hallelujah! But most of the time, I have it. That's my new normal as I was told. I do not have a lump in my neck. I do manage well even with symptoms and so will you or your symptoms will be gone soon. I exercise several times a week and Love it. I know God won't put more on us than we can bare. Although, I have symptoms I am at Peace while on this Health Journey. We all get God's Peace. I got it! God Bless you!

It's great that you're staying active! Many MyHeartDiseaseTeam members do report similar symptoms β€” chest discomfort, neck sensations, and indigestion-like feelings are all commonly shared experiences among people with heart disease.

These symptoms can actually be connected to heart disease, not just coincidence. Here's what's worth knowing:

- Chest discomfort at rest should always be taken seriously and evaluated by a doctor
- Neck discomfort or a "lump" feeling can sometimes be a referred symptom from the heart
- Indigestion-like feelings are a well-known symptom that can actually be heart-related, since the heart and stomach sit close together The most important thing here β€” please don't ignore chest discomfort at rest, especially with a heart function of 35%. That combination really does warrant a call to your doctor soon, or emergency care if the discomfort becomes severe or is accompanied by:

- Shortness of breath
- Irregular heartbeat
- Fainting
- Sudden severe headache
- Weakness or numbness

You're clearly strong for doing burpees, but your heart deserves the same attention you give your workouts! πŸ’ͺ Please check in with your care team about these symptoms.
