Hi Team, can someone help me understand what this means? I won't be able to reach the doctor's office until Mon. I received my MRI results.

I am currently out of town. I
received an email from the doctor's office saying continue taking meds and my MRI was mostly normal. It also says there is evidence of small vessel disease/chronic microvascular/ischemic changes caused by long term high blood pressure, high cholesterol or chronic kidney disease or history of smoking. Wow, that's Wonderful and a Magnificent Blessing. I was not given a survival rate. Both of my children are decease and they were in their 30s. I know God knows best. I am only 66 and have many more years ahead. We are making the century mark. Taking one day at a time. Have a Great Day!

Thanks, RobinHodgesPetruchyk2, that's basically what I was told. My next Cardiologist appointment is in August. He increased my Carvedilol to 12.5mg
twice a day due to high blood pressure though.

Oh, Gwen, I am sorry they did that to you. I hate when I get a bomb dropped on me on Friday and have to worry all weekend. I take comfort in the fact that they said most everything looked good. Bob gave you some good advice. There is nothing to do but wait and call as soon as you can. I hope you had a few good times this weekend. Hugs🤗

An email like that can be alarming, and where a doctor may be trying to say it found something but we can just keep an eye on it, can raise concerns in all of us. Calling him on Tuesday is the best course, and try not to worry yourself over this weekend, and yes I know, that is easier said than done.
