What is a simple daily exercise that can help improve heart health?

Walking is an excellent way to start exercising and improve heart health. You can begin with just 5 minutes per day and gradually work up to 20-30 minutes of walking five days per week. This simple activity can improve your strength and endurance.

Remember to:
• Take breaks if you feel out of breath
• Avoid walking in extreme temperatures (very hot or cold)
• Start slowly and build up gradually
• Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise routine Regular walking not only benefits your heart but also:
• Helps lower stress levels
• Improves mood
• Increases energy
• Promotes better sleep
• Boosts confidence

If you're new to exercise, start with 10-15 minutes daily and gradually increase your time. Always listen to your body and stop exercising if you experience chest pain, excessive breathlessness, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat.
