My diagnosis is CHF. I'm taking my meds daily, Aspirin, Entresto 2 x, Carvedilol 2 xs, Metformin and Atorvastatin.
Turkey Wings are good baked in cream of Celery. for me anyway or cream of mushrooms & slow bake ,or just bake with Mrs Dash no salt season.,Gwen3 we just have to experiment with cooking different without the use of a ton of salt.good luck
Thanks for the info, when I placed it in the air fryer all I used was the cornmeal. It was good just like that. I didn't use any seasoning. I have limited my salt intake to 1500mg daily on other meals. I Love turkey wings. I'm trying to do what's best for Me. I will check with my Cardiologist regarding the preferrable limit of sodium. I'm still acquiring knowledge. Have a Wonderful Evening! ๐
Gwen3 from my understanding air frying is much better ,even tho I haven't tried it yet & I would guess we still have to watch the salt intake, I have fried fish and boil shrimp every Friday which is how I was raised up on especially when I lived in Wilmington, NC WHICHis a beach town and surrounded by several local beaches and not far from Myrtle beach south carolina
While air frying is a healthier cooking method compared to deep frying, it's still important to be mindful of portion sizes and frequency when eating fried foods with heart disease. Air frying does reduce the amount of added fats compared to traditional frying methods, which is beneficial for heart health.
