Great news that no stents are needed! It sounds like the angiogram gave some really useful information ahead of today's appointment.

Regarding steak and eggs β€” it's a tasty combo, but with a heart function at 35%, it's worth thinking carefully about what's on the plate.

Here's a quick breakdown:

- Steak β€” red meat is high in saturated fat, which can raise LDL ("bad") cholesterol and put extra strain on a already-working-hard heart
- Eggs β€” moderate egg consumption is generally considered okay for heart health, but portion size matters
- Cooking method β€” how it's cooked matters too; grilled or poached is much better than fried in butter or oil

A smaller portion of lean steak (like sirloin) with one or two eggs, cooked without heavy fats, would be a more heart-friendly version of that breakfast.

That said, with a heart functioning at 35% and a newly discovered structural finding, today's doctor visit is the perfect moment to ask specifically about diet. They'll be able to give guidance tailored to the full picture of what's going on.

Hi AsaeliNgahe,
That is wonderful news. You made it through your Angiogram in flying colors. Good for you. Sometimes it's not as bad as we think it is. I eat small amount of steak in moderation every once and awhile. It is hard for me to digest due to my kidneys. The Heart Team gave you great advice. I pray you are having a nice relaxing day today. God Bless πŸ’–πŸ™πŸΎ
