Caryn, yes the idea of getting anything like shots in the eyes is creepy. It definitely goes against our instincts to protect our eyes. So many medical interventions are weird if you think about it, especially for people a few generations back. It makes me wonder what they will discover in the future that seems crazy now.

My teeth are finally getting the effect of it. I have been taking calcium channel beta blockers since I was 27 because of BP and until my AMI/ STEMI there was no indication of a cardiac issue. And as my cardiologist reminds me unless some of my test gave an indication of a cardiac issue no cardiologist would have taken the risk of doing a cardiac cath with my having a microvascular disorder. And because I was taking cardiac meds he medicated from what I had already taken.
My last two cardiac procedures I had minimal bleeding because they froze me. I've bled out three times because of my blood type is rare and they don't have it in supply. I'm always given plasma fillers.
So glad you are doing better, I chipped all 4 front teeth in December from a syncope episode. But thats a long story.

Robin, Thanks! I am happy that the shots are working and now things seem stable (at least for the time being). Wow, I hope you have good teeth! It stinks that you can't see a dentist and that dental work has to be done in the hospital. Most everything I have to have done has to be in the hospital because they are afraid that something will go wrong. Maybe it is for the best. Have a good weekend, and you hang in there too. Hugs🤗

Glade everyone is still hanging in there and that is the most important thing. We all are facing a number of different issues but we haven't given up.
Caryn, I'm so glad you didn't need the shot for macula degeneration, we had a old family friend with it and they stopped her from driving.
I haven't had a dentist that will work on my teeth outside of a hospital. They are afraid of me because of my medications and that they can't be stopped for any reason. My last dental work was in the hospital for 7 days and the work had to be done there because of a possible bleeding problem with my medications and if they stop them I'll throw bleed clots because of my thick blood. I've been taking aspirin and Plavix for 14 years and my platelet count is still high. It's so crazy.
But I hope all are doing great and hanging in there.
