Sounds just awesome- hope they continue the research and get this on the market as soon as they know the safety. Even so, there has not been an alternative to insulin for many years and it is good to see it become a target for something better. Inhaled insulin was a big promise but people did not accept it (fear) and it vanished although it would have been very effective and many of the side effects would have faded. I suspect at some point many drugs will be available by inhaler but not in the near future.
