Simply being a human being creates waste. In our wisdom, we human beings dispose of our waste by sweeping it under the carpet. Sadly, ‘the carpet’ is our oceans, our topsoil, our landfills, etc.
I frequently believe the tipping point has been reached. Look at gaza and Ukraine war zones. It’s hard to imagine any cleanup to return land to productivity. Think oceans and space debris.
If an animal in the middle of the forest or sea has plastic in it, it would be arrogant to think I’m immune.

I’m NOT going to comment on the National Medical/Industrial Complex…but I do find it utterly terrifying that plastic bits are making their way into our bodies and may be contributing to our early death! Once again Thank you Cliff for finding and sharing a bit of information that I was unaware of until now!❤️

I’ve done a little digging and don’t see any real way to avoid contamination. I read some air filters work … but what about fresh air exchange. I used a Berkey style gravity feed filter for drinking and cooking water over 10 years with suburban systems. Worked very well. This system will filter micro plastics and delivers great tasting healthy water from tap, rain or pond. I still have 2 but now have great deep well water and filter/acid neutralizer system. I have a service scheduled next month and will see if they test for plastics. With micro plastics in rainwater it’s just a matter of time. I may start using the filters again. With so many other sources of contamination not sure of the benefit.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member, I would never trade quality of life, health, fitness or love for simple longevity. If I make 100, it will be because I don’t feel it! 😉

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I’m no expert but have been monitoring and nourishing my digestion since my 20’s. The bacteria in humans responsible for digesting cellulose is declining and is lower in urban residents than those that live in rural.
