What Factors Went Into You And Your Cardiologist Deciding To Get The Watchman ? Can You Get One With A Pacemaker ?

I have Medicare Part D and with Eliquis, I have reached the donut hole. Cost is now $ 394 for 90 days. Thus, my interest in the Watchman. I am sure you have wisdom to add. Thank you

My cardiologist strongly resisted my going off Eliquis but I ended up in the hospital bleeding and then no problem with the PA. I'm still angry about it.

The cost alone of Eliquis is a reason to get off of it, I agree. The watchman is covered by insurance, I’m pretty sure, and once it’s done, it’s done. And for me the horrible bruises I get if I so much as get tapped by a cabinet door, drop a shoe on my leg, bump into anything. I looked it up on Google and those who have Watchman are very happy with it. There are a few hoops you have to jump through before you can proceed but I for one am ready to start it all to get off Eliquis. Me and my cardiologist are about to go a few rounds because I know he’s going to resist getting me off Eliquis.
