If I’m feeling down and cat Holly jumps up on my lap, she distracts me from my negative thoughts because she wants my undivided attention. Good time to brush her too! If I’m crying it upsets her; she looks at me as if to say I wish I could make you feel better, and she does.

This is my 2 loves of my life (canine version) Harley Rose is the bigger one, she is a 6 month old rescue. The cute little guy is Dobby, he turned 3 this year. Without my kids, I wouldn’t move, literally, I would lay like a rock. I know that that is extremely unhealthy for me. I owe so much to my kids, they are saving me from myself. When I’m not feeling well, Dobby will cuddle me more than usual, he seems to know that I need him more. I am so grateful for my fur babies.

I've always had a connection with animals, they've taught me about my faults and helped me change to be a more forgiving and patient person. Life on earth is short. People in my life have passed on. My husband too, and I'm pretty sure that without the comfort and companionship of my animals, I would find it hard to press on. My heart is still beating and I'm still moving. I'm about to lose my 18.5 yr old dog named Libby. The first dog my husband and I brought into our lives. I had others already and they have all passed on. There are others we brought to live with us who I hope to outlive. I'll show a picture of Libby.

furry friend makes my worst day better and when struggling, even on the operating table he gives me that extra bit of strength to get through the worst that has been thrown at me like the "Widow Maker"

My little Chi is my comfort. She just turned 10 and has heart issues too. I pray she sticks around for a long time. she is so good, only barks till she gets to see you the she will bring you a toy. Such a good personality
