Hi Victor I also have ICD/Pacemaker close to a year now. I had 2 put in due to Physicians mistake.I still have pain where ICD was inserted especially when I lift or over use my arm.The worst part was just getting over fear of the whole procedure and being afraid of when and if it will go off. I try to keep in mind that this thing will hopefully save my life

Initially my ICD was to be inserted on my left side but during the procedure it was inserted in my right side. So I have an incision on left side that is healing too. Something about “my anatomy” that prevented the left side insertion.
