Graston Technique this is the thing I wrote about. It's for Planter Fastitis, but Heel spurs are caused by pretty much the same things, it's just the condition has lasted longer, I believe. I had this pain, diagnosed as both planter fasisitis and heel spurs. The graston technique once learned can be done by yourself at home. I would check if it's covered by insurance, it was for me. It only takes about 10 mins a session, and you'll think, that something so small won't help, but it did for me. I was standing 8 - 9 hours a day in complete pain before it, and afterwards no pain at all. It took about 3 sessions before I started to feel relief, and by session 6 the pain was completely gone and never came back.

There is a painless procedure a physical therap can do. It takes 5 mins for 5 or 6 times. You will feel so much better. I used to have so much pain, and this works so fast. It breaks up the adhesion of fascia.

I have never had heel spurs. But. I remember some friends that had them and they hurt like crazy. It doesn't matter if you are young or old if you get them they are quite painful.
Have a good night and sweet dreams.
