I don’t eat red meat anymore! I rarely eat Pork and eat mostly chicken Fish and Nuts and Nut Butters for protein! I got a book named “ Reverse Your Fatty Liver” authors are Jonathan Mizel and Susan Peters. I follow this as much as possible! You should be able to get it from Amazon! I have learned a lot and it has a list of foods to Detox your Liver!

If I pursued a diagnosis I probably do so I try to eat right before it becomes nonalcoholic cirrhosis! Thanks to God that I stopped drinking alcohol 🍷 at the same time I stopped smoking cigarettes in 1989! A pulmonologist that I saw that summer was very frank and flat out told me that if I didn’t quit smoking 🚬 that I wouldn’t live to see my 3 year old daughter graduate from high school! So I Quit Both!!! I started both in my college years and knew that I would have a better chance quitting the smokes if I quit the drinking at the same time!!!

I’m cutting down on Meat only once a week and eating LOTS of Fish and vegetables and fruits! I have stopped eating candy and cookies and crackers and cheese! I usually eat low-fat Carbmaster Yogurt from Kroger with Fruit in it or 1/2 cup of Grape Nuts cereal for breakfast! I don’t eat lunch and have fish and veggies for supper and fruit for my snacks! I also don’t eat anything made of Dairy! I do allow myself to cheat one day a week! I have a dear friend who is trying to help me switch over to a Vegan lifestyle! I’ll get there before years end!❤️

I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease in 2014,was sent to a specialist who told me that if I didn't lose a significant amount of weight that it could turn into cirrhosis in 5 years,I didn't lose a significant amount of weight, but miracles happen, because after a couple of years my liver size was normal on my ct scan,I believe that God answered my prayers.

I cut Salt out of my diet when I was diagnosed with CHF and high blood pressure! I now use a salt substitute that is made of potassium! I get enough salt in the few processed foods that I do eat!
