I was diagnosed in 2008 with Congestive Heart Disease. I have three stents. I also have Coronary Artery Disease. It’s now 2023 and I’m still going at age 86. I’ve given that diagnosis little thought since then because “I know who holds the future” and I have enough stress in my life without trying to carry that around too. So live your life as best you can and don’t let that diagnosis ruin your joy.

No, it's not true. Whatever you do, don't use Google to get medical answers. When I was first diagnosed, I made the mistake of googling it, and it said that most don't live past 5 years. Since then, I've talked to many CHF survivors who have been living with it for 20 years or more. Take care of yourself, listen to your doctor's advice, and don't Google!

No one has a date stamp of expiration so don't worry about that. What you need to focus on is your condition and the treatments that are available to you. If you're determined, like I am, you will follow your treatment plan and make to most out of every day. Love, Laugh and Be Happy. ☺️

Exactly I tell people to live like you were dying and you will never miss a thing. Unfortunately that is how I had to live my life for a very long time and I tell ya I have no regrets. I was told I was dying and that was how I lived my life. I hiked into mountain lakes, I fished in creeks and lakes, best tasting fish ever. I saw country most people only see through pictures. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Take time to smell the fresh air on a winters morning. See how the sun makes the snow look like crystals. Listen to the birds sing in the spring air. Listen to a child tell you a story one that only they know. Oh how sweet life is. Enjoy it as long as you have it cause it is what we make it. Even with the bumps in it.

I think I’ve answered this before.
It’s probably true that some people have 5 yr though some probably have less. And some probably have more.
It depends on how bad your condition is and how well you take care of yourself.
Don’t worry how much time you have left. Do something with the time you have. Maybe it’s 5 yr maybe 20. No one every really knows how much time you have.
