Wine Or Alcohol
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Good day
I do not drink at all. But was wondering if wine is bad if you had a heartvalve replacement. Sometimes I have a weird graving for wine. But scared to drink some.
Thank you

Hello Carol254 I don't think any one thinks about this but I do. I have an allergy to nuts Cashews are the worst so some people would not be able to drink those types of milk. Also some of those drinks have soy in them and the same goes for that. I am sure you know this I am just one that doesn't always put it together in my mind so that is why I am saying anything. But you are so right those drinks are good in the morning.

Hi I agree with the other ladies talk to your Dr before wanting to try anything weathering a drink or herb etc I usually have an iced chi in the morning with sugar free flavor like vanilla or hazel nut and either nonfat milk or almond milk then I switch to water and add a lemon wedge 😀

I used to smoke but quit after a scare I had with a artery on the right that is blocked and can not be stented due to the size of artery. I drink alcohol with my meds and no bad results so far

Wow!! I don't drink either--never have. I do drink decaf coffee (doctor's orders many years ago - to go decaf)---a diet soda once in a great while. Does sound like a dr question. And I don't have any advice to give you. Let us know what the doc says.
