Afib Question
Was just cardioverted on Monday for AFib. By Tuesday pm back in AFib. Cardioversion has worked in past. Don’t know what’s next. Do I just have to live with it? They say I can’t have ablation due to the condition of my back. I have been on Amiodarone and Eliquis for a year. Not on metropolol because when I am in SR I have a very low heart rates. Any comments please. ❤️❤️
Thank u so much!
Guess my first response was lost.
Sorry there is 2 entries. Had a phone call and thought first response was lost. 😂😂
Have had AFib just over a year last flare up in May after Covid booster. This time I think from the stress of a salivary gland infection, pain and not being able to eat solid food. I was shocked when the day after the Cardioversion the AFib started again. My usual hr is 55-65. Was on metropolol and it got down to 47 so stopped the drug. I have been on Amiodarone for over a year with no side effects. Tomorrow I see the doc and talk about the next step. Can’t have ablation as have spine deformity. May try Tikosyn and I have to be hospitalized 3 days to start it. I am kinda stressed now. Hope you are doing good. ❤️❤️
I have AFib . Episodes are very rare. Took Prednisolone three weeks ago and can't get out of AFib. Worry doesn't help. I'm on 12.5 mg of Atenenol. But since my episode started I'm taking 50 mg. Heart rate is in the 70 to 80's range. Usually in low 50's. What do you consider a low heart rate for yourself? And how are you doing on Amirodene? That is a very powerful drug with many side effects. I have read stories of people who went right back into Afib after cardio version. I guess it's not uncommon. What is your heart beat rate now?💖
