Was told by my Cardiologists not to get them, I have Paroxysmal Afib, Aflutter, and other issues they are still trying to figure out. I think you pretty much have to just do whatever makes you feel safest

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member, Go ahead and get it. I have Afib and I have had all but the most recent booster and no problems at all with Afib. 🤗

Hi Jewel, My last vaccine was end of September or early October of 23. I opted out of getting the 6month booster available to those over 65 because the vaccine wasn’t updated to the newer strains and Covid rate was low. Also with the controversy and my doctor’s practice taking a non committal stance saying “it’s a personal choice”. Now that the positivity rate and other indicators (such as hospitalizations, waste water etc) are all showing Covid on the rise I am definitely going to get the updated vaccine that is due out this coming September. In the meantime I’m taking precaution when at an indoors setting and exposed to the public by donning a N95 mask.
