Hello, JimCade if I can give a suggestion when you are on medications have a baseline done of these vitamins before taking them. B vitamins and folate, D-3, because if you don't need them you shouldn't take them. Also Folate too. Then your doctor can tell you what you can or can't take along with different medications. I hope this helps

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member,
I had a long reply, got a phone call and lost it all.
You can eat correctly on a limited budget and feel fine. Right now it would intail getting an entirely new look and not listening to the fack nutrition facts.
Take care,
Robin

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member,
It is sad that so many are profiting off the sick. I was raised on the old food pyramid that says you need so many servings a day from the food groups and that is still a given fact. People fail to take a good look at where the information is coming from.
We all got here from different causes and one of them is something that we can't change and that's genetics. We pick up those genes from our parents and family. Then you look at life style, meaning are you active, eat a lot of junk or fast food. Then activities, do you walk exercise or are you a couch potato.
I am very thin and am under weight but I will eat you out of house and home. These new diet that call for fresh exclude frozen food and that is wrong. Freezing is just a way of preserving food and the oldest form is canning and these things things are basic. I do the same with the modern form of canning as with the old. When you take them out of the can drain them and rinse. Don't believe the hype about how to cook your vegetables season them it is the added salts on your plate that is harmful. Even pork is good for you, its the additivesthat aren't.
There is just so much to say on the subject and it's all good.
Take care,
Robin
