Victoria, The wind makes it hard for me to breathe as well. I too like Bonnie I have afib (which makes it race) and I also have heart failure which causes SOB. My doctors are not concerned either so I don't worry about it. I think any time one's heart is compromised in any way you will have trouble quickly adjusting to temp changes coupled with the wind it just makes our heart work harder. I take it easy on windy days, warm or cold, and just slow up and don't walk as fast or as far or all if it is really super windy.

It is definitely from the heart striving to do one of two things: either get enough oxygen for its needs or to supply enough oxygen to the large muscles like your legs.
Mine just goes crazy when I walk faster than it can keep up with and I pant in an effort to get the oxygen it is asking for. I hope this is helpful.

Hi Victoria, I can understand your concerns. I go through the same thing. My doctor is looking into all my test results to see what is going on. My next appointment later this month I will get my results. You take care and be safe.
