After multiple trys with different statins, I still suffer the side effects of muscle pain. What are some good non-statin meds?

I take Atrovastatin, it keeps the cholesterol down, is a tier 1 medicine, and I have no copay for a 90 day supply. Atrovastatin is the generic name for Lipitor.

Causes a little pain in the legs but very effective.

My Insurance covers all but $50 a month for repatha. United Health Care PPO. Same as AARP

Crestor is a statin. I'm taking Repatha, it worked wonders for me.

Have you tried crestor? Just 5mg to start. If need be the dose can be raised. It kicked my cholesterols butt! Lol No side effects as of yet. I have been on it 3 months.
