My Dr says it opens up the blood vessels. But I have never taken myself I'm a little nervous to do it. They gave it to me when they put in my stents. What they told me is not to take it if my top number was below 120, said it would make my pressure drop to low. That's all I know. How are you doing George?

They work by dialating the blood vessels which gets more blood to The heart muscles! When you have chest pain use one. Wait 5 minutes and if it hasn't stopped take another one. If it hasn't stopped in 5 more minutes and take one more,
For a total of three. If it still doesn't subside go to the ER. God bless!

Confusing to me. Seems as if it stops the pain then the heart was causing the pain , see Doc. Info says if pain doesn't stop see Doc, could be reflux not heart so take a Tums ????
