I Have Angina From Back In 1992, Does Angina Ever Act Up Years Later? If So What Are The Symptoms?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was told by a doctor that angina was caused by having scar tissue around the heart, I told him I was an x drug user. He said it could be caused by several things. Does this ever act up ? If so what are the symptoms? Thank you Dayna.

I suffer all the time with Angina. Angina can also be caused by not having enough oxygen rich blood flowing through the heart and lungs causing your heart to work harder to ensure the body receives enough oxygen rich blood. Extreme cold and Hear seems to make it worse. For me it is not pain . It is like a squeezing sensation and heaviness like something is sitting in my chest.
