Are Beta Blockers To Be Taken For Life Or Temporary? Hate Taking To Many Tablets If Not Nesserary.
I'm taking a beta blocker and an alpha inhibitor..... I once asked my doc if I could discontinue them and she said that they served as more of a heart protector than anything else.....so......yes......they are probably life long meds.
I have been on a beta blocker since 1988. Still works very well.. Fatigue is the worst side affect, but fatigue is also the system of Pulmonary Hypertension due to heart value issues and right sided heart enlargement. One day at a time. Eat well, exercise and rest time thought the day.
probably for all our lives..I have taken them for 13 years...
I think its a long term medication

Have figure this out. Many blessings. O my Dr told me the Inderal isn't going to help my heart now, that was 4 yrs ago. He said if the flutters, smothery, weird things my heart does get worse I need ablason. That's very scary. God bless you always
