I was supposed to have mitral valve surgery last July and doctors will not do it because of some bad teeth. My Doctor never even really mentioned it until I was waiting in the pre op room waiting for my surgery. I waited over 5 hours not knowing why my surgery was not happening. My son has shortness of breath, went I and had a Eco. They found a electrical problem in his heart. He was put on meds and asked to come back in 3 months. He did and had another Eco on his heart. His EF was 40 the first time, this time it was below 30. They are doing another Eco in 3 months. Put him on different meds for congestive heart failure.
