I doing OK, had very little energy over the weekend. Now back to work. I am supposed to have a TEE on April 11th. I guess it will tell us more about how bad my Mitral Valve is regurgitating.
Was just recently diagnosed with afib, currently on atenolol after trying metopolol and it not agreeing with me. Things are better with atenolol, but still some dizziness. Does it get better? Thanks

For 10 Yrs I have taken Ex Forge 10/160 for BP. And Plavix 75 MG daily. (No Side Effects I Thought). May 20th end up in the Hospital after experiencing shortness of breath, Chest Pain, HIgh HP, Dizziness. Four Nights of Echo, Stress, Angiogram and Blood Work. Went home on the 24th. On June 1st, BP still up there, they put me on a Water Pill. Double Exforge to 10/320 and put me on Motropol (Beta Blocker). Two weeks of Hell. Nausea, Dizziness, Headaches and Fatigue. On June 28th. was put on doxazosin 1 mg took for 2 weeks had a stroke n0w they put tablets up to 2mg feeling so weak and tired but can not sleep also on losartan 50 m,g now saying they will be giving me a higher one
I was on Losartan very shortly. I seemed to be having an allergy to it, so was taken off. While I was on it, it worked well on my BP, though.
Took me off on sotol
I developed edema with heavy swelling in the lower legs and ankles during the day but it goes away overnight.
I use compression socks which helps somewhat.
I read that Amlodopine may be the culprit. Can I discontinue it for a week to see if that helps.
Do you keep your feet elevated durring the day when ever you can?? For the swelling to go down at night time…….that is WONDERFUL…..share this with your heart doctor & see what he has to say 😃
