Since my CABG surgery and my peripheral artery disease diagnosis , I have overhauled my diet, but still struggle with wanting sweets . I eat fruit, but sometimes I just eat a piece of dark chocolate .
How do others deal with their sweet cravings ?

I do not drink period. I took care of three alcoholics in my life span. My cardiologist said it’s not good to mix it with my heart medicine. I am on eliquis and Cardovalil medicine.

Many of us have two or more medical problems. Example cardiac problems and diabetes. Doctors give their best medical advice based on their specialty field. Has anyone ever received conflicting advice based on having more than one medical problem? How do you make it sit right in your head?

Hi All. Have read the magnesium article and am very worried with my heart condition as I suffer with kronic constipation. I'm taking boiled beetroot, dufalac powder, dried fruit and molkosan and still having problems. I follow a good diet, no sugar no wheat. I'm still very active, exercise wise for almost 7 days a week. Is it safe to continue with magnesium as it does good in other areas of the body. I have a nerve problem (CIAP) Seeing a Dr. today to have a full blood annalysis done.
