I will possibly need a permanent pacemaker.
So glad you are doing better. I am 2 weeks post surgery for lead replacement on the lead that slipped. Doing good, but not as much improvement as I was hoping for. We’ll see how it goes. ❤️❤️
I had a pacemaker put in about 8 years ago. Then about 5 years ago, I had that pacemaker removed and a defibrillator pacemaker put in its’ place. Am I the only one who didn’t feel any differently when each of my pacemakers were installed? I don’t faint anymore. That is about the only difference. As far as being aware of a pacemaker, I feel nothing. Maybe that is a good thing. Maybe I feel so well, maybe I don’t feel anything.
Wow! I hope I never get shocked.
I am 70 years old, have had 3 ablation since 2011, multiple cardio aversion to get heart in a normal rhythm. How will a pacemaker correct my issue?
Thank you, my friend.
I have been recently diagnosed with this disorder. I didn't even know I had it until I read the summary notes after appointment. Thoughts welcomed. Thanks
Yes, all he said is my heart is getting worse...but he acted like it wasn't a problem so I felt the same until I looked at his report....this is a very good hospital so that was disappointing.
when i had mycataractws removed, they put lens in my eyes so no more glasses.
the lens in my right eye is cloudy and dirty and restricting my vision
an eye dr is going to use a laser to remove this lens
will the laser have any effect on my pacemaker
thanks ro bet in the hills o vermont
tghanks, I will do that
Currently in hospital after the lead in my top chamber came loose , it then sat on a nerve causing visable jolting of my chest and diaphragm and breathlessness , weirdest experience ever. Having another op tomorrow to replace , now it's left me with the added concern of it happening again , I have total heart block so completely dependent on the pacemaker, has anyone else had these issues Margaret
I did not have a lead come out but I had one that was not working properly (the original lead was put in in 2002) I had a new lead put in in 2023.
I have a pacemaker about 4 1/2 years due to afib and was diagnosed with COPD with pulmonary Hypertention. I've had asthma since I was 5 years old I am now 76 years old. I also had breast cancer 20 years ago. I also was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis about 8 yrs ago. Now between not breathing and heart failure I am exhausted and just miserable 24hrs a day. I want to turn the pacemaker. Any one else feel so defeated?
