How Do I Know Whether My Nocturnal 'episode' Was An Actual Heart Attack And Does It Matter?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I recently experienced chest pain and nausea while in bed at night. It lasted about 10 minutes and was very scary. From what I read online it seemed I had a heart attack, but when I called doctor the next morning he called it an episode and sent in a prescription for nitro-glycerin. Has Anyone Traveled Internationally Having CHF And Afib Issues, How Was The Experience Go?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have always wanted to see the Holy Land. My church had planned a trip to Israel on April 2024, not thinking clearly, I signed up for it and already paid for it, not considering my heart health condition. I think my CHF is stable but having frequent Afib episodes the past 6 mos can be an issue.
Any feedback is welcome.

A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member

I did and he prescribed the nitroglycerin. However, I was told not abuse taking it so I temper when and how often to take it. I definitely feel discomfort in my heart most of time during normal daily… read more
